A programme of light Italian music.
Introduced by Alec Robertson.
Gianna D'Angelo (soprano), Fernanda Cadoni (mezzo-soprano), Juan Oncina (tenor), Sesto Bruscantini (baritone), Jani Strasser (piano)

(The Italian Opera Quartet appears by permission of Glyndebourne Opera)
Many viewers will remember a lively recital by the Italian Opera Quartet which was televised in September 1953. There has been one change since then: Gianna D'Angelo (soprano) replaces Aida Nonni. Three of the singers (Fernanda Cadoni, mezzo-soprano, is the only exception) appear in the Glyndebourne production of "The Barber of Seville" which will be televised on Friday.
