Oscar Rabin and Harry Davis celebrated the twentieth year of their partnership as directors of Oscar Rabin's Band, in 1943. The band is noted for many things-its all-round excellence, its singers, and the compering by Harry Davis, who has made dance band presentation his special study.
Oscar Rabin is a self-effacing band-leader. During stage performances he plays bass saxophone and likes to sit in with the band, rarely taking his stand on the conductor's rostrum.
