Richard Niles presents a series of in-depth interviews with friend, colleague and guitarist Pat Metheny, who remains the most commercially successful jazz artist since his 1976 solo debut, Bright Size Life. Missouri-born Metheny has reinvented the jazz guitar, developed new acoustic instruments and composed for orchestra, ballet and film, with much of his output created with pianist Lyle Mays. This final part explores Methany's unique guitar manoeuverings, with the virtuoso demonstrating some of his revolutionary techniques.
