New series 1/4. Distinctive comic star and accomplished musician Bill Bailey turns his attentions to tribute rock and pop acts. The generous-spirited satirist pays affectionate homage to an often ridiculed, rather provincial and hugely successful phenomenon, whose origins lie probably with Beatles tribute bands (and Elvis impersonators), notably in Australia. The series starts with an historical overview, featuring input from the Counterfeit Stones, T Rextasy and Abba-inspired Bjorn Again. Producer Liz Anstee
