An anniversary spectacular in which Stephen Brooker conducts the BBC Concert Orchestra in a specially adapted concert version of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg 's musical adaptation of Victor Hugo 's Les Misérables, which premiered 21 years ago today at the Royal Shakespeare Company's Barbican Theatre.
