Sandie Shaw recalls ITV's music-and-lifestyle show Ready Steady Go!, which from 1963 to 1966 captured the mood of a mod youth culture strictly defined and packaged according to its music, fashion, attitude and dance. The series aired live on Friday evenings, and showcased new and hip acts from both here and abroad.
