4/4. Another chance to hear REM bassist Mike Mills with a profile of Arkansas-born country-pop giant Glen Campbell. This final edition recalls the 1975 monster number-one single Rhinestone Cowboy - Campbell's first genuine pop hit since 1971. It paved the way for further successes - including the 1977 US chart-topper Southern Nights - though unfavourable comparisons with the golden era of Wichita Lineman and By the Time I Get to Phoenix were inevitable.
Featuring input from Jimmy Webb and journalist Keith Cameron.
