John Drummond , who died earlier this month, was one of the foremost figures in the Arts in the UK. As director of the Edinburgh Festival and the BBC Proms, and Controller of Radio 3 he was uncompromising in his pursuit of the highest standards. John Tusa presents a tribute to him that includes contributions from the composer Harrison Birtwistle and from the choreographer Siobhan Davies.
