2: America 1. Tommy Pearson presents a week of music from the movies. In today's programme he introduces the music of three of the greats of the Golden Age of Hollywood film: Max Steiner , Miklos Rozsa and Erich Wolfgang Korngold. Rumon Gamba conducts the BBC Scottish
Symphony Orchestra in the music Steiner wrote for the 1933 blockbuster King Kong, Rozsa's score for MGM's 1959 epic Ben Hur starring Charlton Heston , and the music Korngold wrote for Errol Flynn 's 1938 portrayal of Robin Hood.
