(died 28 April 1992) 4: The Colour of Love Messiaen described human love as a reflection of the Divine Love; in his music he painted the physical and spiritual longing of his own heart. Antony Pitts considers Cinq Rechants in the light of the Turangalila-Symphonie, and a recording of Messiaen playing the organ in the church where he worked for most of his life.
