Helsinki, Erkki Toivanen introduces excerpts from two significant Finnish operas: The Hunt of King Charles by Fredrlk Paclus , the first Finnish opera, and Juha by Aarre Merikanto , the opera whose premiere in 1963 over 40 years after its composition, opened the eyes and ears of a new generation of Finnish composers.
