East-West
Nicola LeFanu introduces music by four composers who ' weren't concerned to bridge any gap between East and West, but to come to terms with some of the more complicated relationships which arise when a musician is no longer just the heir to the tradition to which he's born, but can share in musical traditions from many countries and from many times.'
