by BARRY COLLINS with Colin Blakely
During the Second World War, the German Army abandoned a monastery in Southern Poland leaving several captured Russian officers locked in a cellar. Weeks later, the advancing Red Army broke open the door - and found two survivors, both driven mad. In this play one of the two. Captain Vukhov, is presumed sane. Standing, as it were, in white hospital tunic and regulation issue slippers, he addresses his judges.
Produced and directed by, ALFRED BRADLEY
