German sculptor, artist of the extreme, maker of ' actions such as ' Explaining art to a dead hare,' founder of a student party. Professor of Sculpture at Diisseldorf, Beuys talks to his fellow artist RICHARD HAMILTON.
During his visit to London in March Joseph Beuys talked for eight hours at the Tate Gallery and another eight at the White-chapel Art Gallery. In between he recorded this conversation.
