Odd Feet by NOEL ROBINSON
Accountant
'Your name has been given to me by the Secretary of the National Odd Feet Association.
I understand you have a left foot size 3A and a right foot size 4112A. I myself have a left foot size 41/2A and a right foot size 3A. As we consequently appear to be a match, perhaps you would be interested in discussing the possibility of our perhaps combining forces, as it were, in the purchase of shoes.'
Angela and Judy embark on a long-term relationship by letter, not just to do with shoes!

Church and State
The third of four programmes on the Roman Catholic
Church in Peru investigates the political implications of the faith. The conflicting ideological interests of the USA and the Soviet Union exacerbate the acute internal problems of a country which has already undergone eight military coups this century and where today bombings, rioting and gun battles are daily occurrences.

In the manner of Lewis Carroll's Alice, Richard Stanley disappears down a series of holes in the ground to investigate the subterranean world of tunnels, caverns and conduits that thread their way across the country, unseen beneath our feet.

In this final programme he invokes the aid of Nigel Pennick, chronicler of subterranean symbols, to delve deep into devilry, legends and lore.
