'Do you see a lifetime of working in bras and knickers for yourself?'
When Terry's asked that, he doesn't give an enthusiastic answer, but having done badly in his A-levels he's not in a position to choose, and somehow he finds himself fighting to establish a position in a factory that makes those vital articles.

A dramatised investigation into the extraordinary career of Edward Irving , one of the most controversial clerics of the 19th century. lain Cuthbertson plays the part of the tanner's son from Annan whose mesmerically powerful preaching made him the darling of fashionable
London society. But that same charisma also brought about his downfall. His services were disrupted by strange phenomena, condemned by some as proof of hysteria, hailed by others as sign of Divine approval. Irving compounded his notoriety by maintaining that Jesus took on sinful flesh and the age of miracles was not past. He was put on trial for heresy and found guilty, but his story is not over yet, as Bernard Jackson finds out.

The Yang Chi Jade by MICHAEL CAMPBELL
Based on a short story by FREEMAN WILLS CROFT , with Confucius said: 'The wise man does not hide his true nature; it is only the impure who try to conceal what they really are.' This is true, too, of the Yang Chi Jade , in which the beauty consists of the flaws that are visible in the transparent stone -and perhaps it is also true of the mysterious French girl who plants the priceless jewel on Charles Pemberton.
