Clovis in the Country by COLIN TUCKER based on some of Saki's short stories with Ronald Pickup Angela Pleasence John Rowe and Gwen Cherrell
H. H. Munro , who wrote under the name of Saki, was killed at Beaumont Hamel on 14 November 1916. Many of his short stories centred upon the character of Clovis Sangrail, an elegant man about town, with a biting wit and a taste for guiding other people's lives.
