' Believe me, nothing, excepting a battle lost, can be half so melancholy as a battle won.' The early morning of Sunday 18 June 1815, found the armies of Wellington and Napoleon facing each other at Waterloo. The battle which followed was ferociously fought on both sides. When it ended at dusk, Wellington and Bliicher, his Prussian ally, had lost between them 30.000 men. The second part of this new series tells the story of that fateful day. Narrator NOEL JOHNSON
