Sir Malcolm Sargent 's quote Introduces David Franklin 's celebration of the centenary of The Royal Choral Society.
The choir has a distinguished history which includes many first performances and a number of famous conductors, among them Sir Edward Elgar and Sir Malcolm Sargent.
Since Sir Malcolm died the choir has been seeking its role without him. Now. under Meredith Davies, it looks ahead with confidence.
