Sir Charles Tennyson makes his choice from the Victorian poets
Sir Charles came of age before Queen Victoria died and the poetry written during her reign has been a constant source of delight through his long life. In this programme he excludes the poems of his grandfather so as to be able to concentrate on a rich host of other favourites. Reading the poems and discussing them with Sir Charles are his two favourite radio artists
