Will a beachside fish restaurant finally expose Nadia Sawalha's culinary Achilles' heel? Operating a fish grill in the sweltering heat is a recipe for potential disaster.

Celebrity MasterChef winner Nadia Sawalha is sent on a dramatic, colourful and tasty culinary journey through some of the best restaurants in Europe and beyond, by some of the best chefs in the UK.

Nadia is challenged to recreate a famous chef's most memorable holiday meal in the same restaurant in which they originally ate it. She has just two days to slot into a working kitchen, learn the recipes and source the ingredients before then having to serve the meal to her mystery challenger. The twist? She doesn't know who she is cooking for until they walk through the restaurant door.

Nadia finds herself in a beachside fish restaurant, a far cry from her Michelin-starred challenges. Will her culinary Achilles' heel finally be exposed? Operating a fish grill in the sweltering summer heat is a recipe for potential disaster as she fights with every type of fish the Mediterranean has to offer. She also gets to grips with prawns, clams and mussels while cooking cataplana, the regional classic of the Algarve, and makes the strange-looking angel hair dessert.

She also has her work cut out as she attends the annual sardine festival and the regional shellfish festival - before serving up a fishy meal to one of the slipperiest mystery customers in the series. If she fancies herself as a fine chef, why is grilling a simple sardine so difficult?

Curtis and Alice's wedding day is thrown into turmoil, a familiar face endangers Jessica and Adam's relationship, and Jordan prepares to leave the ED.

An armed Curtis arrives at Tony's but is shocked to find he has been murdered, in the first episode of a two-part story for the medical drama. Realising he will be the prime suspect, Curtis runs from the scene but is spotted by a witness. Alice agrees to go on the run with him but, as the pair try to escape, Curtis accidentally injures one of DI Moreland's officers. He stays to stabilise her but flees before the police can arrest him. Now, the stakes are even higher.

Back at the Emergency Department, meanwhile, Jessica is thrilled at confirmation that Adam is Harry's father but furious when she discovers Adam has called Sean to make peace for the sake of Amelia and Lucas - she just can't forgive Sean for taking her children.

Elsewhere, Big Mac and Noel gather Farmead volunteers and bundle them on to a coach headed for the ED, as they prepare to rehearse for a big terrorist attack. However, a speeding car doesn't see the coach and causes an accident.

It's Jordan's last day, but his plans to make a swift exit are disrupted and he accidentally costs Adam the post of clinical lead. Jordan also finds Zoe and, as they say their farewells, it's clear there is still something between them. However, before Jordan can leave, he is called back into the ED when the coach crash causes chaos.

It's hard to know where to start tonight, there's such an almighty pile-up of storylines. It's the first of a two-parter to end the run (Casualty returns in September) and the writers have thrown everything into the mixer. There are a couple of moments so daft that you may burst out laughing, but it makes for an excellently full-on episode.
For a start, Satan appears in the hospital car park. Sorry, not Satan; I mean Sean. I get those two mixed up. He is evil incarnate after all, and having blighted a number of lives by kidnapping his and Jess's children, abducting them to Saudi Arabia then turfing Jess out of her home, he strolls in with a merry quip as if nothing has happened, the swine.
Curtis (the paramedic we last saw getting a gun so he could confront gang boss Tony) spirals from bad to very much worse, ensuring his and Alice's wedding day goes about as badly as could be hoped. And there's not one but two major road accidents for the ED to deal with. Plus a chemical-attack rehearsal.
In the midst of all this Henry, the grumpy hospital boss, stalks around snapping at everyone like a bilious bulldog - always a joy. Oh, and Matt Di Angelo guest-stars as an unlucky groom-to-be. Yes, another one. (David Butcher)
