Holby City 8.00pm BBC1
A much better episode this week, if you can ignore student nurse Danny's mooning around over Croatian mum Marina. Meyer has made a remarkable recovery from being shot, while Alex is struggling to work with his locum Alistair Taylor. You don't need a surgical instrument to cut the atmosphere between that pair. Meanwhile poor old Sandy is not having much fun on her 20th birthday, particularly when Liam and Keri take the celebrations a bit too far.
