The question is on everyone's lips, Charlie's included: has Baz told Peter that their marriage is over and she really loves Charlie? Regular viewers may already have their suspicions about the answer. Meanwhile;another romance appears to bubbling along: Rachel's young admirer turns up in the A and E department again. This time, he says, a television fell on his head.
As always, topical subjects mingle with the medical and romantic storylines. An idealistic young boxer gets badly injured in the ring; a teenager unknowingly eats a cake laced with drugs, with alarming results; and an army wife takes drastic action because no one will take her claims of Gulf War Syndrome seriously.
