Israeli cameraman, Moshe Alpert risks his life nearly every working day. He is a CBS news cameraman. His pictures showing Palestinians being savagely beaten by Israeli troops shook the world, yet the same camera that records violence and bloodshed in the occupied territories also focuses on the natural beauty of the Israeli countryside. As the tanks roll past and the clatter of gunfire dies away, Moshe turns his lens on his real passion - clouds of migrating white pelicans which float unchallenged over barbed wire and battlefield.

In the week of the London premiere of Terry Gilliam's The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, this documentary sheds light on the making of the biggest movie shot in Europe for over 25 years. The director reveals how he almost despaired of finishing his film, faced by mounting problems ranging from dogs with liver complaints to huge overspending, and the stars explain how they coped with the amazing special effects, from bizarre make-up to riding in a balloon of silken underwear.
With the participation of Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, John Neville, Charles McKeown and Oliver Reed. Narrated by David Castell
