In this 1954 version of the famous operetta Howard Keel is the sergeant in the Royal
Canadian Mounted Police with Ann Blyth as Rose Marie , the girl he loses to a handsome French trapper, played by Fernando Lamas.
The spectacular scenery of the Rockies forms the background for this colourful musical romance which includes the famous songs Rose Marie and the Indian Love Call, and the spectacular staging of Totem Tom by Busby Berkeley.
