This is a rematch the whole of boxing wants to see, between the two men who staged the greatest fight of 1987. Until last April, McAuley was almost unknown outside Northern Ireland but, after being knocked down in the first round, he came so close to becoming champion. Bassa, from Colombia, finally subdued the Irishman in the 13th round, but a sell-out crowd in the King's Hall tonight are hoping for a different ending this time. Commentator
