Why do people go hungry in a fertile country? That's a question that two Newsround Newshounds try to answer. Amy Colquohoun from Exeter and Neil Findlay from Glasgow were among the winners of the junior reporter competition organised by Sport Aid and Newsround. They flew to the far eastern country of The Phillipines. While they were there, soldiers tried to overthrow the government and thousands faced starvation because other countries no longer want the sugar that they grow.
