Carol Chell and friends say Hallo Again.
Prayer.... for What?
Should we pray only for spiritual things, or can we pray for a win on the football pools? Fr Herbert McCabe , OP, suggests that because we are children of God we should ask for things as children do, and leave it to our Father to allow the relationship to grow to its full maturity.

Karl Marx described them as 'drunken, always a bad lot' and as 'recruiting-sergeants' for the farmer. A hundred years later the gangmasters are still a power to be reckoned with in the Fenlands. The farmworkers' union would like to see them swept away, but even the gangmasters' harshest critics admit they're probably a necessary evil.

Derby County v Chelsea BBC cameras are at the Baseball Ground to assess clubs of great tradition who were in the Second Division when they last met four seasons ago.
Then on the way to promotion, Chelsea won all six points home and away, while Derby dropped into Division Three.
But, under ARTHUR COX, County have hauled themselves back to the First Division with promotion in each of the last two seasons. They joined football's big spenders this summer, signing the England pair PETER SHILTON and MARK WRIGHT from Southampton.
How Derby are shaping back in the top company of the Barclays League, and to what extent Chelsea have shaken off last season's blues, will be discovered in the next
90 minutes.

Ian Gall visits the part of Cornwall which the tourists don't see. Since the decline of the tin mines, Camborne has become an unemployment black spot, but it's still a good community in which to live.
PERCY RICHARDS worked at the South Crofty mine for most of his life and remembers how everything centred on the mine and the chapel. Young people have to look for work elsewhere, but some, like 19-year-old CRAIG SHEER , find that Christian faith still provides them with confidence in the future.

The File on Fr Guadalupe Three years ago, Joe and Eileen Connolly left St Louis, Missouri for Central America in search of Eileen's brother, a Catholic priest.
Fr 'Guadalupe' Carney had disappeared in mysterious circumstances in the jungles of Honduras. Their search was to uncover a tangle of political intrigue and secrecy which stretched back to
Washington, but it was also to leave many important questions unanswered.
David Jessel 's film on the Connollys won the Royal Television Society's
International Current Affairs award in 1984. Now he reports on new evidence which sheds important light on Fr Guadalupe 's fate, and on the extraordinary journey of faith and discovery which the Connollys have made. Film editor RICHARD BRUNSKILL Producers COLIN CAMERON and DAVID WILLCOCK
