What makes a picture look balanced and active?
It's the shape of the things you use; there are sticky shapes, cut-outs and a giant cardboard room. Liza Brown tries to throw a pot and then meets designer Michael Cane. Morph cheats at hide and seek and there are computer graphic shapes.
Watch out for the shape of your work in the Gallery.

Presented by Frederick Forsyth

Most recent wars have not been fought by conventional soldiers supported by tanks and aircraft. They've been fought by the irregular fighter armed only with what he can carry. Whether he operates as a guerrilla, fighting against an oppressive regime, or as part of the special forces of a regular army, his kind of warfare is always hard and frequently bitter. This programme gives a rare glimpse into the war of the irregular. It illustrates the experience of being a guerrilla in El Salvador and a partisan in occupied Yugoslavia. It reveals what it takes to be selected by the SAS and shows the spectacular results when they raided Pebble Island during the Falklands campaign.
