The first of three films starring Charles Bronson
Tonight with Ben Johnson
In this action-packed adventure, Bronson stars as the mysterious John Deakin - apparently the prisoner of Marshal Pearce. They and a group of US Cavalry are crossing the Rockies by train, heading for the isolated Fort Humboldt - scene of a diphtheria epidemic.
But matters are far from simple, and during the hazardous journey several strange deaths occur. Surprise follows surprise before the movie's spectacular and unexpected climax.
