The feature film starring
Dustin Hoffman Fayc Dunaway
Meet Jack Crabb , pioneer, adopted Indian, drunk, con-artist and adventurer. At 121 years of age he is all set to tell of his life and times, and of the West as it really was. Most importantly, of the climax of his adventures as the only white survivor at the infamous Battle of the Little Bighorn where General Custer led his forces into a massacre. Custer is portrayed as a ruthless megalomaniac in this sprawling, epic movie which combines comedy and tragedy in its story of the emergence of the West. Dustin Hoffman gives his most extraordinary performance in the title role-playing Crabb from teenager to the 121-year-old storyteller.
