The Real Unemployed
' Unemployment reaches post-war record '. That was last month's headline. This month's figures, released tomorrow, will probably be worse. But is there a growing discrepancy between the unemployment figures and the human facts? Peter Taylor reports on an investigation that shows how the ' real unemployed ' are not revealed in the monthly count. Who are they? How numerous are they? And what are their problems? These questions are answered in tonight's programme.

starring
Burt Lancaster , Audrey Hepburn
In this spectacular Western, Audrey Hepburn stars as a young girl who becomes the subject of racial bigotry and family tensions, when her Indian parentage is discovered. The situation worsens when her brother - Kiowa warrior - decides that she must return to her own race. John Huston weaves an intricate pattern of strained loyalties, prejudice and savagery in this unusual movie - notable for its superb photography and a strong cast dominated by veteran actress Lillian Gish.
