From six at night till two in the morning, Frank Grimes and Tom McGoldrick cruise the streets of Harlem in their yellow cab. They are New York City street detectives who work in plain clothes. They concentrate on violent crime. They are part of the anti-crime unit, in Harlem's 28th Precinct which is both the smallest and the most violent precinct in the entire United States.
At first Frank Grimes and Tom McGoldrick remind you of Starsky and Hutch, But the difference between the harsh world of the two white cops working in an inner-city ghetto and the weekly adventures of Starsky and Hutch is like the difference between night and day.
