The street carnival with its steel bands and troupes of dancers is traditionally a West Indian celebration. Leeds was one of the first cities in England to hold its own carnival and this year a school band from Manchester was invited to take part. We visit the ducie HIGH SCHOOL STEEL BAND as they prepare for the carnival.
