The last of three Omnibus musical documentaries produced by MICHAEL HOULDEY
In 1964 Alan Price was a member of the Newcastle pop group ' The Animals.' Now he has become one of Britain's most sought-after singer-composers, and he is currently playing the title role in a new film called Alfie Darling.
In Between Today and Yesterday he revisits the North East, which has inspired much of his work, and in London he rehearses, records and performs songs which reflect the changes in his life and attitudes after ten years as a professional musician.
