A season of films displaying the many-sided talents of Peter Sellers
Tonight starring Ian Carmichael, Terry-Thomas
and Dennis Price, Richard Attenborough, Margaret Rutherford

After his demob from the Army, Stanley Windrush attempts to enter Big Business using the influence of his shady Uncle Bertram. Stanley soon finds himself a hapless pawn in a crooked scheme to inflame labour relations and provoke a strike.
Amongst many notable comic performances in this film, Peter Sellers' is memorable, a performance which - more than any other - was responsible for the actor's rise to international stardom.

A featured international 10-round contest from tonight's Harry Levene promotion at Wembley.
BBC outside broadcast cameras bring you the whole of the fight direct from the Empire Pool and provide the first opportunity of seeing Ken Buchanan in a British ring since he became the undisputed lightweight champion of the world.
Sugar Ramos has twice fought Carlos Ortiz for the world crown and this will be a very testing warm-up fight for Buchanan before he defends his world title later this year.
