Starring Red Skelton
Tonight's film in this comedy season also stars Virginia O'Brien, Gloria Grahame

A young moviestruck cinema usher wins a trip to Hollywood. Fortified by boundless enthusiasm and blissfully unaware of his shortcomings as a dramatic actor, Merton eventually wins through, unwittingly, as a comedian!
Tonight's film - one of Red Skelton's funniest - is full of nostalgic insights into Hollywood. Gloria Grahame is delicious as a glamorous 'vamp' and Virginia O'Brien plays the hardbitten extra who befriends Merton.
