Tonight's film in this comedy series stars Thelma Ritter, Jeanne Crain, Scott Brady

Mae Swazey operates a Marriage Bureau catering for an endless parade of shy, timid clients in search of partners. With garrulous good humour she earns a modest living by matching chalk and cheese, but when she takes a sympathetic hand in the affairs of an attractive but unhappy model who isn'even a client, the sparks begin to fly.
Thelma Ritter, one of Hollywood's most accomplished character actresses, brings the wry wit of her native Brooklyn to bear on the role of Mrs Swazey whilst Jeanne Crain is the pert and pretty model.

Two young Australians on holiday in London find that the 'old country' is as full of personal problems as of tourist spots.
This is the second Wednesday Play to take a look at England through the eyes of outsiders - the first was "The Exiles" by West Indian Errol John. "All Out for Kangaroo Valley" was written and directed by Australians and has an all-Australian cast.
