Introduced by David Coleman direct from Wembley bringing you the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final: Leeds v. Wakefield Trinity
BBC outside broadcast cameras bring you the whole of today's big match at the Empire Stadium, Wembley, followed by the presentation of the Cup and medals by H.R.H. The Duke of Kent
The North makes its annual invasion of the South today - there will be 65,000 chanting, cheering Northerners in the 95,000 crowd packing Wembley for Rugby League's highlight of the year, the Cup Final.
This year the tension will be even greater - if that's possible - because Leeds v. Wakefield Trinity amounts to a Yorkshire local derby: the two cities are only ten miles apart.
Wakefield, last year's League champions, have a tremendous Wembley record - they have appeared in four finals since the war and won them all. Leeds' last Wembley victory was in 1957. They got through to the final this year after being beaten at the semi-final stage in the two previous seasons. Both sides play fast, open football and this final could easily be a great one.
