told by Frank Duncan.
In 1963, Ralph Izzard, one-time journalist and traveller in India, returned to Madras. From there he visited the Holy places and magnificent Hindu temples of the South, where the earliest known inhabitants of the country-the Dravidians-took refuge from the invaders from the North. In that region, their ancient culture, with its traditions of dance and music over 2,000 years old, has been preserved almost intact.

Starring Joss Ackland, John Slater with David Daker, Bernard Holley

Counterfeit half-crowns are flooding Newtown. They are pretty convincing at a casual glance. Detective-Constable Kane is one of the first to come across a dud when his sister finds one in her handbag.
Blind Wol, the match-seller, is also given a dud, and it is his 'description' of the person who gave it to him that eventually leads Sgt. Stone to the culprit.
