Two illustrated talks by Peter Crossley-Holland
1. The Lamaist Monasteries
Peter Crossley-Holland recently visited the Himalayas where he stayed among the Tibetan communities in Little Tibet (Ladak), Sikkim, and West Bengal. He has made a special study of the instrumental and vocal music both in the monasteries and among the people and has brought back recordings which throw new light on their ancient culture.
