Act 1: A cave in a forest
by B. C. Brookes
As science and technology advance, the demand that scientists should offer descriptions of their work that are intelligible to non-scientists becomes more pressing. But is it true that the scientist has only to be skilled in exposition and to take sufficient trouble to 'explain' what he is doing? Mr. Brookes thinks not, and he discusses the linguistic problems that support his contention.
Act 2: The depths of the forest
A talk by ILLTUD EVANS , O.P., on Le Corbusier's achievement in reconciling the individual and the communal in a Dominican priory near Lyon.
