In recent decades botih the atmospheric circulation and the oceanic circulation in the northernmost Atlantic and adjoining seas have undergone pronounced changes, and Arctic temperatures have risen. The speaker describes how this has altered the ecology and influenced the fisheries in the Barents Sea, :n the Baltic, and indeed in the western English Chennel.
