Artists are scarcely respectable! In some circles they are invited to perform at the soiree, but are obliged to enter by the kitchen door. In other circles respectable families often crushed-perhaps they still do-the talent of an artistic child under the weight of their preference for bank managing as a career. Nothing against bank managers, but what's not respectable about Art?
