This is a school orchestra formed, taught, and conducted by the head-master.For several years in succession it won the nrst prize at the National Eisteddfod, and it has carried oft four challenge shields, five silver cups, and the Sellars Trophy (Blackpool), in addition to numerous other cups and medals. It has 'he remarkable record for a school orchestra of winning twenty-five first prizes in succession. In 1933 the boys of the orchestra had the honour of playing before H.R.H. the Duke of Gloucester when he opened the Carnegie Welfare Clinic at Trealaw.
