Commentary on the final tests by K. Rowland Harris from Cathays Park, Cardiff
Five years ago a small band of enthusiasts thought that Wales should have a motor rally of her own. Headed by Sir Robert Webber, this year's president, they succeeded in inaugurating what is now the biggest motoring event of the year in Wales. It has become a recognised annual event, and valuable awards will be given at this fourth Welsh Rally. After braving the vagaries of Welsh roads for two days and completing the 500-mile road section, the eliminating tests will he held at Museum Avenue, Cardiff.
