A Talk by J. INGLIS KER
(From Edinburgh)
It is a hundred years today since Thomas Telford died. A specially devised programme dealing with his work as a road-maker and bridge-builder will be broadcast on Friday. Mr. J. Inglis Ker, who gives the talk tonight, knows every road and almost every bridge in Scotland, so that listeners will get first-hand impressions of Telford's achievements
Articles on Telford and his work will be found on pages 551 and 554.
