The recent French atom-bomb tests in the Sahara will have their repercussions in the first edition of this new monthly programme. Dr. B. Kettlewell discusses with John Hillaby a research project in which listeners can join: moths and butterflies have been marked in North Africa before migrating, and it is hoped that many of these will be caught in this country and tested for radioactivity-the result of atomic fall-out.
