2—Saying 'No' isn't just saying ' No '
Several mothers of babies and toddlers recorded, unrehearsed, conversations among themselves about problems of upbringing. They suggested the BBC might supply on the air some background of theory to help in dealing with typical situations. For example, when and how often do you say ' No' to your child? Are your children ever jealous of each other? Do you find anything irksome about your work in the home?
In this programme a paediatrician who is also a children's psychiatrist talks about some of the things he found himself thinking while listening last week to the conversation on Saying No.' Parts of that conversation are repeated.
