The sixteenth Royal Air Force Display takes place at Hendon this afternoon. As in previous years, it will be a demonstration of the skill and precision required by a Service pilot. It occurs annually at a time when each pilot has passed through the various phases of I his training, and the events are designed to show the standard of efficiency reached in the many duties the personnel of the R.A.F. may be called upon to perform. As far as possible, the Display covers all forms of training, in particular the actual flying of the young pilot, and its more advanced forms in the shape of aerobatics, bombing, air fighting, formation flying, and co-operation with the sister Services.
